Dietics Department
Dietics   A balanced diet in terms of calories, proteins, fats, carbohydrates, minerals, electrolytes and vitamins is essential for a healthy life. A proper diet provides daily requirement of nutrients to the body, thus enhancing the immunity of the person. 
The Dietics Department at Jairam Hospital strives to establish and encourage good nutrition practice and provide good nutrition care to the patients and normal individuals.
  • The dietetician provides high quality dietetic service to the hospital patients.
  • Diets are provided to the patients according to diagnosis of patients
  • The Dieticians remain active in patient's care and keep reporting the nutritional status of the patients as well as act as adviser to the Physicians and the medical team.
  • The Dieticians present a nutritional assessment of the patients that may include information specific to ideal body weight, history of weight loss, pertinent laboratory values and anthropometric measurement.
  • The diets are provided to the patients based on Science of Nutrition.
  • The Dieticians remain in touch with the patients and visit them twice daily.
  • The Dieticians help the patients understand the nature of the disease and the dietary influence and its management.
